A comforter is used every night and cleaned almost never — mostly because a home washer isn't big enough to do it right. That's exactly what a laundromat is built for. Green Spin has 60 lb and 80 lb front-loaders that were installed new when the shop reopened, and they're the perfect size for comforters, duvets, blankets, and oversized bedding.
How a comforter should actually be cleaned
A comforter needs three things to come out right: enough drum space to move freely, thorough rinsing so no detergent stays behind, and gentle drying so the fill doesn't clump. Our big machines give you all three. We use a mild, low-residue detergent and finish drying on a cool cycle so down and synthetic fill stay lofty.

Bring in duvet covers, sheets, weighted blankets, quilts, pillows and pillow covers, mattress pads, throws — anything from your bed and we'll clean it. Sheets and duvet covers go through wash & fold at $1.75/lb or pickup & delivery at $2.69/lb; comforters are priced per piece.
